| Council On Aging Board |
The seven member Board is appointed by Town Manager. The Board members
are volunteers, who typically are appointed for three year terms.
Currently, all the Council on Aging Board members are over 60 themselves.
The Board meets the second Wednesday of every month to work with the
Director to continuously evaluate and update the Council on Aging
department's programs, services and activities, as well as any Senior
Center issues. They develop plans and policies which allow them to
effectively advocate for the changing needs of the growing senior
population. |
