Parks & Cemetery Commission

Overview

The Commission meets with the Parks and Recreation Director on a monthly basis to discuss budgets, policies, and capital projects. They also approve the sale of lots at Mountain View Cemetery. The commission is appointed by the town manager for 3-year terms.

Residents wishing to have an issue on the agenda of a Parks and Cemetery Commission meeting should send a letter to the Parks and Recreation Director in advance. Agenda's are posted one week prior to a meeting.

Schedule
The Commission meets on the 2nd Monday of the month at 7:00 PM. Additional meetings may be called by the chairperson or the director of Parks and Recreation as needed. A resident who wishes to be on the agenda is asked to submit a letter to the director of parks and recreation prior to the meeting. Meeting agendas are created one week prior to the meeting date.
