News

The Cemetery Department requests that all winter decorations, wreaths, baskets, Easter flowers and any other seasonal items be removed from Mountain View Cemetery by April 1st in order to facilitate the spring clean up. The Cemetery staff will remove and dispose of decorations which remain or are placed upon a lot during the period of April 1st and May 10th.  New decorations may be placed on lots after May 10th.

The Shrewsbury Cemetery Commission would like to remind lot owners to restrict plantings after May 10th to the front of monuments only.  Plantings and decorations found behind monuments, on top of monuments, or on shrubs, will be removed and discarded by the staff.
