| Boy Scout Troop 158 |
| About us: |
Boy Scout Troop 158 consists of approximately 60 boys between 11 and 18 who are interested in camping and other outdoor activities, personal achievement and learning leadership skills. We strive to meet the ideal of a "boy-led" organization, where the Scouts do the planning, and then execute their plan (adults are involved for guidance and to ensure a safe and appropriate program). The Troop has a very active schedule, camping at least once per month between August and June, in addition to a variety of other local day trips. We attend a week-long summer camp in July at the Treasure Valley Scout Camp in Rutland, MA and also send a group of older boys to a more-challenging "High-Adventure" camp each year. We also do our best to live the Scout Slogan "Do a Good Turn Daily" by being involved in community service projects on a regular basis. |

a grass-roots organization of
parents and community members that supports the
crew program at Shrewsbury
High School. It is our goal to help the high school

maintained.
We also hope to reach out to alumni rowers of
the program and to give them a
forum to share their enthusiasm and fond memories

Look for us in your travels to New England rowing
events where we can be
