Fiiscal Policy Committee

The Board of Selectmen formed the Fiscal Study Committee in May of 2006 to undertake a detailed study of the fiscal condition of the Town. The membership of this committee consist of two persons from each of the Board of Selectmen, School Committee and Finance Committee, eighteen appointed by the town moderator and a final six appointed by the Board of Selectmen.

The Committee is scheduled to deliver its final report in March of 2007

The charge of the Committee was adopted by the Board on May 8, 2006.

Public Hearing Notice: Final Report of Fiscal Study Committee

The Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 12, 2007, at 7:00 PM in the Selectmen’s Meeting Room, to hear citizen comments relative to the Final Report of the Fiscal Study Committee

Residents of Shrewsbury are encouraged to attend this public hearing and to offer any written or oral comments.
