When is a permit required?
- A permit is required for all work that must meet the requirements
of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Fuel Gas and Plumbing Code, 248CMR.

How to file - Plumbing and gas
permit applications are available in the Building Inspector’s
office. Permits must be submitted by a licensed plumber or gasfitter
as required by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Fuel Gas and Plumbing
Code. |

Where to file - Permits
may be filed in the Building Inspector’s office at 100 Maple
Ave between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M. |

| Request an Inspection |
| Requests for inspections are made through
the Building Inspector’s office. A notice of 24 hours in advance
of the inspection is required. |

| Plumbing & Gas Fitting Form |
| The Massachusetts Uniform Application
for Permit to Do Plumbing must be submitted. Forms are available in
the Building Inspector’s office. |
