Dun, dun, dun, dun, watch out California surfers, Brazilian scuba divers, and New York beach lovers. Stay out of the ocean waters. The bull sharks are on the loose, at depths of less than 100 feet.
The bull shark is know by its scientific name carcharhinus leucas. If you see an 11 foot shark with a white belly and a gray body, you could be looking at a bull shark. You mammals watch out, this shark is a predator.
The bull shark is not useful to people in any way. In fact, this shark is very dangerous to people because it may mistake people for seals. It is very dangerous to mammals and big fish.
