Strategies for Effective Teaching (SET) is a required program for all new teachers in Shrewsbury Public Schools.

It is designed to:

• provide an orientation to district teacher evaluation expectations
• introduce Research for Better Teaching (RBT) instructuional strategies
• allow time to work on curriculum design techniques

SET Workshops are offered free to Shrewsbury teachers during Professional Development Workshop days and after-school sessions.
