Financial Aid Night is December 11 at 7pm. The program will be held in the SHS Auditorium and is intended for seniors and their families.

PSAT sign-ups have begun. Deadline for registering is October 3. Cost is $20, cash or check made out to SHS. Please stop in to Guidance to sign up. PSAT is held October 18 at SHS.

Students interested in taking a career inventory can sign up to take the ASVAB assessment on October 8. Sign up with Ms. Marchand in the Guidance Office. Any student can take the assessment, sophomore through senior. The test begins at 8am and will take about 3 hours.

During the academic year, SHS hosts a number of college and university representatives that will meet with students in a group setting.  Below are the guidelines for attending one these visits.

College visit policies:

• College visits are open to juniors and seniors.
• Students may only sign up for one visit per day.
• Students may not miss Gym or Health/Wellness (these classes meet less than others during the 7-day cycle) or miss a test, project, or presentation to attend a college visit. 
• Students must sign up a day in advance of the visit.
• All meetings are held in the Career Center unless otherwise noted.
• Students are to report to their scheduled classes first, present the pass, and then arrive at the college visit.
• Please sign with your first and last name.
• It is the student's responsibility to make up any missed work.
• Please remember that it is a privilege to attend a visit.  Please make sure that the college matches your interests and abilities.
