| What is the Sport Management Program? The Sport Management Program’s mission is to provide students an opportunity to experience careers in sport, while promoting school spirit and creating a participatory school culture. Mr. O’Connell, Mr. O’Connor, and Mrs. Moisan advise the program, which currently has 31 students involved. This group is now working on promotional events for athletic contests: a 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament (Shrewsbury High Shootout), our monthly newsletter (The Fan), and pep rally to be held in January. Students have had the opportunity to hear from Joanna Nelson of the Toronto Blue Jays and has agreements from the Worcester IceCats and Notre Dame University as future guests. |
