On Monday, August
13, 2007, at 7:00 PM, in the Selectmen’s Meeting Room, 100
Maple Avenue, the Board of Selectmen will sponsor a public hearing
on two of the three proposals recently received in response to the
Town’s Request for Information (RFI). Recently the Board issued
the RFI to create a formal competition among developers to address
the planned production mandate created under General Laws Chapter
40B.
The RFI process produced three proposals which the Board has had
under review for the last few weeks. On Monday, August 6th , the
Board plans to reduce the projects under consideration from three
to two.
The purpose for the Public Hearing is to solicit public input concerning
the RFI process and on the nature and impact of the two projects
being considered.
Material associated with this initiative can be viewed in the Office
of the Board of Selectmen during normal business hours or on the
web at
The Board welcomes any interested resident to attend this public
hearing and to offer any written or oral comments.
