Effective January 1, 2001 8.1 SCC will install and support the connection of one cable modem to Customer's computer. If Customer chooses to operate a network behind the Service, they do so without technical support from SCC. Each Customer who does so operate a network shall ensure that SCC Services are used appropriately by Customers, and users, and consistently with the SCC End User Agreement Business under which Service is obtained. SCC reserves the right to discontinue Customer's service if servers are found to interfere with other Customers' enjoyment of the Service. 8.2 SCC operates on shared resources. Excessive use or abuse of these shared network resources by one Customer may negatively affect all other Customers. Misuse of network resources that impairs network performance is prohibited and may result in termination of Service. 8.3 No Customer may consume resources in excess of contracted amounts, including network bandwidth, memory, and disk space. Customers may not use resource-intensive programs that adversely affect other Customers or the performance of SCC systems or networks. SCC reserves the right to terminate or limit such activities following appropriate notice. 8.4 SCC reserves the right to charge for bandwidth usage in excess of contracted amounts. If SCC provides Customers with static IP addressing, we reserve the right to re-number and add additional IP addresses with prior notification to Customers. |
